Illegals boycott America, we boycott Cinco de Mayo

On Fox & Friends this morning there was an interview with Bob Griggs. Bob is promoting a boycott on Cinco de Mayo day in retaliation to the planned boycott of America by the illegal aliens on May first. Excellent idea !

The illegal aliens believe they can cripple our economy, and they may have an impact on it, but, I think it is ridiculous that illegal aliens are in the United States boycotting the United States.

How have we got ourselves into such a position to allow outlaws to march in our streets ? And illegal means illegal, period. I have no problem with legal immigration, we all have roots in immigration. But, LEGAL is the key.

Interesting Google Ads

I have discovered that if you use a Contextual advertising system such as Google Adsense you have to take the good with the bad. Several ads have been running on this site that really go against my personal views. I am trying to keep up with the filters, but it is time consuming.

So please remember, the small print….

Advertisements you see may not reflect the opinion of the management of this blog, you must be 18 years of age or older to qualify, tax and title not included and some side effects may cause extreme emotional discomfort by anyone who actually reads anything here.

Numbers

The television show Numbers is one of my favorites. I guess that really shows my geek side. Although they push the envelope a little, numbers and math are definetly a major part of life.

I have been reflecting on numbers for this year, and how my age is starting to show.

31 - Years since I lost the vision in my right eye. I guess since it was at an early age is the reason it does not seem as critical as other things, although I am reminded everytime I open my eyes.

14 - Years since I did chemotherapy. And it amazes me how it has stayed with me. There are a few scars to remind me, but, things that happened during chemotherapy and that entire year are just lodged in my soul. Along with the tastes, scents and sounds that still haunt me just a little.

10 - Years since my mother passed away, in some ways it seems like she was here just yesterday, and at other times it seems like 20 years ago. And I miss her all the time.

4 - Years since my open heart surgery. Now that one is still with me daily. It took me 2 years just to get over the effects of the surgery. And there are some really big scars.

19 - Years I have been happily married to my lovely wife. And if you look at some of the previous numbers you can see that I needed the help to keep going. There is not a better woman, or person on this planet.

14 & 18 - Years my kids have graced my life. Oh sometimes they make me want to scream, but, for the most part they are good kids. And I can not imagine how empty my life would have been without them.

Yep, I am getting old. Where’s my cane…..

No I am not AWOL

I have just been busy with all these other things. We took a little road trip on Saturday to Philadelphia, Mississippi. And I have been spending most my time on the computer working on CybersMusic.com.

The road trip was nice. Just to get away by ourselves (the wife & I), driving and talking was really nice. The one place we thought would be cool to visit turned out to be totally abandoned. What a shame. Nanih Waiya Mound looks so interesting on the web, but, when we arrived, the place was ruined. The foot bridge was demolished, the buildings were empty and the grounds looked like they had not been taken care of in a very long time.

ACLU Christian

Ok, there are 2 key facts I know about me. I am a Christian, and I am a software programmer. So I have to put things into a perspective I can understand, and this assignement must be true.

ACLU Christian

Based on this….

Judge says Ten Commandments can stay: “The American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio sued Lucas County in 2002 to have the display removed, saying it was unconstitutional and promoted religion.”

If you are willing to sue because something “promoted religion” it only proves the fact that you can not be a member of the ACLU and a Christian. The great commission of the Christian faith is clear.

Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

If you are a member of the ACLU, great. And if you are a Christian, great.

Just remember, ya can’t be both.

What is the truth?

What is the truth ?

Does it matter?

Today it seems that the truth takes a backseat to the opinion. Truth, to many (at least the MSM) is not important, the opinion is. And how popular and how well marketed the opinion, how successful the story. And if the truth does not make the story as interesting, then just slant the opinion for the desired result.

Just look at the stories in the news. Is it truth or opinion that makes it to headlines?

Lawyers: DNA clears Duke teamRequest that lacrosse rape case be dropped; DA won’t back down

And what about Cynthia McKinney, Tom DeLay, Rumsfield, WMD, and on, and on.

Forget what your opinion is, just think, what is the truth ?

The truth will set you free !

A new Political Network?

This sounds like an excellent idea. I thought I might be the only blogger on the planet with these feelings, Thanks Political Football !

The answer to your question is NO, you are NOT the only one who is sick of Party Politics. Political FootBall echoes your sentiments. Heck, maybe we can even start our own political network. A network that began with just two reasonable bloggers who are fed up with the status quo and willing to make a stand.

Come on people. There has to be more of us out there. Are you with us?

Sick of Party Politics

Am I the only person sick of Party politics?

Yes, I think one party is better than the other, and I probably agree with 70 - 80% of their platform. But the rhetoric and bashing is driving me crazy. It seems nothing is about what people want anymore, it’s about which party can smear, attack and destroy the other side.

I would like to see one day, just one, where no one in the United States says the words Republican or Democrat. If you think someone is making a bad decision or is doing something stupid, then say that, without using the persons political affiliation or attacking the individual.

Immigration - Break it down

This is big. And if we do not get it under control it could easily escalate to things we do not want. The biggest problem is that everyone wants a comprehensive solution after ignoring the problem for decades.

DON”T EAT THE ELEPHANT IN ONE BITE, Break it down.

Work on the border security issue first. If this is not priority #1 then all else will fail. Run the scenarios and think about it. If the solution from our government does not include massive deportation, more illegals will try to flood across. If we try to deport 11 million people they will just come back across in a larger concentration.

Instead of getting everyone riled up, fix the borders, then and only then can we concentrate on the illegal alien issue.
