Dan Fogelberg

Sunday December 16th, 2007 Dan Fogelberg passed away.

I feel really bad because I did not know he was battling cancer. As a cancer survivor and a man getting close to 50 I have to admit that prostate cancer scares me very much. If you visit the Official Dan Fogelberg website there is a personal letter and sermon from Dan. I would recommend reading these.

God rest your soul Dan, and thanks for all the fantastic music over the years.

I was fortunate enough to have seen Dan in concert twice at the Beau Rivage before he announced he had cancer. I also saw him at the height of his career during “The Innocent Age” tour. Great songwriter, singer, and performer. I’ll be playing his albums tonight and remembering.

-wolfie, consider yourself lucky, I never had the chance to see Dan live. His music was high on my list, especially as I love to play the acoustic guitar.
