Dallas Cowboys Information
Super Bowl XLV
Although I am not a fan of either the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Green Bay Packers I will still be tuned into the Super Bowl. Hopefully it will be a good game and the Packers will come out on top. As a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan I just can’t imagine a situation where I [...]
Emmitt Smith Enters the NFL Hall of Fame
Emmitt Smith is the last of the “Dallas Cowboys Triplets” to enter the Hall of Fame, following Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin. What a legacy those three left behind. Not sure we will ever see three players on one team dominate like they did. Emmitt was and is a class act. Remember, he was too [...]
Super Bowl XLIV
I have not looked forward to a Super Bowl this much in a long time. Yes, since the last time the Dallas Cowboys were in it. This is awesome, the New Orleans Saints in the Super Bowl. It has been a long, long wait for the the NOLA fans. But it is even sweeter now [...]
Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football
Talk about a love hate relationship, me and watching the Cowboys. I was raised a Cowboy fan, and I despised Jerry Jones when he fired the beloved Tom Landry, but I could not stop being a Cowboy fan. And now long after the Jimmy Johnson era I still have to root for Dallas. So here [...]
Brett Favre Retires
After 17 years Brett Favre retires, no really. I hate to say it, but the first thing that comes to my mind is that I am old. I clearly remember when Brett Favre came into the NFL as an Atlanta Falcon. And think about that, after one year in Atlanta they traded Brett Favre to [...]
Football questions this week.
1.) Can the Colts offense get past the Bears defense? 2.) Can the Bears offense get past themselves? 3.) Is Norv Turner the next Dallas Cowboys Head Coach? 4.) Did Jerry Jones really consider Wade Phillips as a possible candidate?
Romo leads the Cowboys home
Well that didn’t last long. With one play Tony Romo showed the Dallas Cowboys where the exit was at Qwest Stadium. Hard to be real upset with him, he was the main reason the Cowboys made it to the playoffs, and I know I would not want to go through the next 6 months like [...]
Dallas Cowboys clinch Playoff berth !
Thanks to Tony Romo and Marion Barber III I have a reason to watch NFL football for the rest of the year (while I wait for Nascar to start up again!). Although I will admit that I would keep watching the New Orleans Saints too ! Being a Drew Bledsoe fan the move to Romo [...]
Cowboys sign Williams
The Dallas Cowboys signed Roy Williams to an extension, and that is good news. But, if you read between the lines you will see the bad news. America’s Team is in some real trouble on the marketing (players) front. “He probably is the second-most visible player we’ve got on this team right now, Terrell (Owens) [...]
Ready for some Football
It’s that time again. NFL Training Camps are up and running, draft picks are holding out. Old timers are trying to find that new team to help ignite their career one more time. The Top 10 from Draft day are certainly under the microscope, that is, if they showed up to Training Camp yet. 1. Houston [...]
Super Bowl, Winter Olympics and NASCAR
Although I did not have a favorite in the Super Bowl, I guess I was rooting for Seattle. However, I am happy to see the Steelers get their victory and Jerome Bettis be able to retire at the top. Pretty ironic seeing how I am a diehard Cowboy fan. Oh well, football is not what [...]
Back to Work
Finally back to work today. I have been off since last Wednseday, and I was ready to come back to work. Vacation and Holidays always sound great, but, after a few days I am always ready to get back to my regular schedule. I know, I must be sick or something. I really enjoy my [...]
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving. This is one of my favorite Holidays, although I am known as somewhat of a scrooge for most Holidays. Thanksgiving is always a time of personal and family reflection, along with great food and football. This years trip to the in-laws will be a little hard for us. My father in-law passed away [...]
Professional Sports
As a kid growing up I was a major NFL Football fan. My beloved Dallas Cowboys were as close to my heart as anything else in life. Over the years I never missed a game. In 1997 when I moved to Mississippi I purchased Direct TV for the sole purpose of getting all the Cowboy [...]

Michael Thompson Well, this has been a pretty pathetic year so far for my Texas sports teams. The Houston Rockets fell short of making the playoffs, again. The Houston Astros just keep falling and falling, again. Next up...the Dallas Cowboys. Hopefully, they get their act together this year and make a good run into the playoffs. Football season needs to hurry up and get here.
Roland Gandy Jr. Dallas this win is for you i hope you get better. one love god bless Lakers and Cowboys for life.
David Anderson Bradie James, former Dallas Cowboys linebacker, now Houston Texans, established Foundation 56 in 2007, to help stamp out breast cancer, which claimed the life of his beloved mother. The Foundation raises money to spread the message of breast cancer awareness and promote early detection of this insidious disease. Cupcake Meet presents: NOS Energy Nights to benefit Foundation 56 on July 21st, 2012 in Dallas, TX.
Steve Riddle I'VE DESPISED MANY TEAMS OVER THE YEARS, THE DALLAS COWBOYS, TEXAS LONGHORNS, OSU COWBOYS, NEBRASKA, LSU, USC AND ANY OTHER TEAM THAT SPANKED OU'S ASS BUT I'VE NEVER JUST ABSOLUTELY HATED A TEAM LIKE I DO THE LA LAKERS. I LIKE THE THUNDER BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I HATE THE LUCKERS WHO HAD THE REFS IN THEIR POCKET TONIGHT. KOBE, METTA AND THE REST OF THOSE JACKASSES ARE THE BIGGEST CHEAPSHIT ARTISTS EVER. THIS GAME INFURIATED ME. I NEED TO QUIT WATCHING. THERE ARE NO MISSPELLED WORDS IN THIS RANT. LOL.
