Peggy Cook Give me my flowers while I am living- not when I am gone. Old people are only young people in bodies that have deteriorated over the years. They have feelings and emotions, and they appreciate every visit, every phone call, every mothers day or father's day present. They appreciiate a hug once in awhile. That's why today I plan to go to the senior center and see how I can volunteer my time, even if its just to visit with them in the resthomes.
