Jon Lodge Miata club meeting this morning, then lunch with some friends in the club. I've been tasked with planning a trip to the OBX in September. Last year's trip was nearly perfect, BUT, and you knew a BUT was coming, the weather was great. September is part of hurricane season. Put the main pieces together for a trip to Boston and then Bath, Maine, to visit friends in May. Round trip air from Boston to Portland would take 3.5 hours and cost $123 each way. Amtrak takes 2.5 hours and costs $17 each way. I wish all of my decisions were that clear-cut. LOL

Walter Noons I just recorded a first take of the 1st song off my new CD. The CD is called "Hurricane Songs," and the working title of the tune is "Rainy Season." I'm pretty pleased with the result. It's a somewhat sparse arrangement with two electrics, bass, drums, vocals, percussion and harmony. I need to cut it back by three verses. Right now it's coming in at 4:44. With some revisions it'll weigh in at well-under four minutes. Look for a dub tomorrow.

Stewart Pearce They have just started giving weather warnings in Florida, Twister are abound this time of year, didn't know about this, but they tell us its not that much to worry about it and warnings will be given out, lets hope its not in the middle of the night, as Sandra say's it won't stand a chance with my snoring, I did not think that they could forecast Twisters but it seems they can. Then June through to November its Hurricane season, we won't be here for most of it but will be back in September. Weather today very warm with some cloud 75 degrees, sorry I know you have snow.
