Edward Hobby American kids denied food stamps in Alabama under immigration law I just read this article and here is what I think the problem is. These children, just because they are born on US soil should not be automatically made US citizens. I feel at least one parent should be a US citizen in order for the child to become a US citizen. Come on, do we really want to pay to support the children of undocumented or illegal immigrants just because the child is born here?
