Kirk Holder American Craft Beer Week did not escape us - Selena and I met up with friends at Covington Brewhouse and had Bock and Pilsner (Heiner Brau). Then at The Barley Oak in Mandeville, we tried Lazy Magnolia Cask Conditioned Indian Summer with Mandarin Oranges, Rasberries, Cardamum, Clove, Star Anise, and Ginger, Abita Double Hopped Jockamo IPA, Abita Bier de Gard, High & Mighty Beer of the Gods, and good ole Spaten Optimator! Prost!
Daniel Grace I love my job. This week is American Craft beer week, so every day we have some different beers on tap. Tonight I tried two different aged cask beers, which were really good, one from NOLA and one from Lazy Magnolia. I decided to drink the Southern Gentlemen from Lazy Magnolia, which is delicious. It's like a dessert to me.
