James Dye Liberals are great at using words to trick people. The latest trick word? Austerity. Socialism does not work in the real world, and as a result of many nations trying it, many nations like America, are now broke and in massive debt. Whenever any nation even hints that it will try and live within its means, a liberal will call this "austerity". This is to give the idea that refusing to go in more debt for socialist welfare programs is somehow a bad thing. Since almost every nation that has tried socialism is broke and in massive debt, and socialists don't care and want to continue the welfare programs, you will hearing the word "austerity" a lot in the near future.
