NFL Football Information
Super Bowl XLV
Although I am not a fan of either the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Green Bay Packers I will still be tuned into the Super Bowl. Hopefully it will be a good game and the Packers will come out on top. As a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan I just can’t imagine a situation where I [...]
Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football
Talk about a love hate relationship, me and watching the Cowboys. I was raised a Cowboy fan, and I despised Jerry Jones when he fired the beloved Tom Landry, but I could not stop being a Cowboy fan. And now long after the Jimmy Johnson era I still have to root for Dallas. So here [...]
Brett Favre Retires
After 17 years Brett Favre retires, no really. I hate to say it, but the first thing that comes to my mind is that I am old. I clearly remember when Brett Favre came into the NFL as an Atlanta Falcon. And think about that, after one year in Atlanta they traded Brett Favre to [...]
Eddie Robinson
Ex-Grambling coach Eddie Robinson died at the age of 88 in Monroe, LA. He’s noted for sending more than 200 players to NFL.
Football questions this week.
1.) Can the Colts offense get past the Bears defense? 2.) Can the Bears offense get past themselves? 3.) Is Norv Turner the next Dallas Cowboys Head Coach? 4.) Did Jerry Jones really consider Wade Phillips as a possible candidate?
Still gotta love those Saints
Even though they were no match for the Chicago Bears today, ya gotta still love those Saints. A year after Katrina the New Orleans Saints were definitely a rare bright spot in the Big Easy. And you know Cowboy Maloney has to be breathing a little easier today! Now let’s see what the AFC game [...]
Romo leads the Cowboys home
Well that didn’t last long. With one play Tony Romo showed the Dallas Cowboys where the exit was at Qwest Stadium. Hard to be real upset with him, he was the main reason the Cowboys made it to the playoffs, and I know I would not want to go through the next 6 months like [...]
Dallas Cowboys clinch Playoff berth !
Thanks to Tony Romo and Marion Barber III I have a reason to watch NFL football for the rest of the year (while I wait for Nascar to start up again!). Although I will admit that I would keep watching the New Orleans Saints too ! Being a Drew Bledsoe fan the move to Romo [...]
Matt Leinart finally signed
The first-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals signed a six-year contract.Out of 255 players taken in this years NFL Draft, Leinhart was the last to agree to a contract. Financial terms were not disclosed, but you can be assured it was way too much. ESPN reported that the contract was worth a max of $50 [...]
Clinton Portis dislocates shoulder
In the first preseason game of the year for the Washington Redskins, Clinton Portis dislocated his shoulder attempting a tackle on a Mark Brunell pass that had been intercepted. An MRI has already confirmed the injury and now it will be a waiting game to see how bad the injury is and how long the rehab [...]
Cowboys sign Williams
The Dallas Cowboys signed Roy Williams to an extension, and that is good news. But, if you read between the lines you will see the bad news. America’s Team is in some real trouble on the marketing (players) front. “He probably is the second-most visible player we’ve got on this team right now, Terrell (Owens) [...]
Reggie Bush signs with Saints
Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush signed a six-year contract Saturday with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints announced this morning that he may not practice today, but should be in practice tomorrow, Tuesday August 1st. The Saints are holding their Training Camp at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
Ready for some Football
It’s that time again. NFL Training Camps are up and running, draft picks are holding out. Old timers are trying to find that new team to help ignite their career one more time. The Top 10 from Draft day are certainly under the microscope, that is, if they showed up to Training Camp yet. 1. Houston [...]
NFL – Race an issue
I really do not understand this. Why do people have to be racially motivated to stir up trouble. In an article on ESPN by Michael Smith, he says… “And so the NFL’s diversity record remains six African-American coaches out of 32. A disappointing loss and an opportunity lost, for sure. But as can be the [...]
Aikman, White among finalists for Pro Football Hall
NFL – Aikman, White among finalists for Pro Football Hall: “CANTON, Ohio — Former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman and the late Reggie White were among the 15 finalists Wednesday for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.” I personally can not see how Aikman can miss, but, I am a little biased, having been a Dallas [...]
Back to Work
Finally back to work today. I have been off since last Wednseday, and I was ready to come back to work. Vacation and Holidays always sound great, but, after a few days I am always ready to get back to my regular schedule. I know, I must be sick or something. I really enjoy my [...]
Professional Sports
As a kid growing up I was a major NFL Football fan. My beloved Dallas Cowboys were as close to my heart as anything else in life. Over the years I never missed a game. In 1997 when I moved to Mississippi I purchased Direct TV for the sole purpose of getting all the Cowboy [...]

Michael James Lange Dear NFL Execs: I like how u gave us Thurs nite football and Sunday nite football! Can u please find it in your hearts to have the biggest freakin game of the year on Saturday nite so I wont have to be hung-over on Monday morning!
Erin Somers Wish I actually cared about the NFL and super bowl... but I'm a college football kinda girl. Well anyways... Roll Tide! :)

I am SO glad I do not have to see the Cowboys luck their way through any more games, In 2012! Watching the game as always rooting for FOOTBALL PANTS!!!!! Go New England pants and Go Giant pants!!! I love the NFL! :)
Kamil Chojnowski I'm so excited that the NFL season is almost over for the year ..ESPN gets so annoying with it.. they are still talking about Tebow every day . American football is so boring
Frederick Wisznat My FB friend closet is feeling a little cramped with all 77 friends. I'd like to clean it up a bit and will accept "unfriending" with the following provocation: American football is one of the stupidest games ever played, the NFL is the thing of sheep and emotional investment in the Super Bowl is a feature of spiritual bankruptcy There! That should tidy it up nicely!
Tina White I usually dont watch NFL football tonight is the only game I will watch once a year, so what team are u for? I am going for New York Giants since Eli is a MS man....
Greg Burroughs Andy Dalton got robbed last night. The only rookie in NFL history to start all 16 games and lead his team to the playoffs. Just because Cam Newton threw for more yards and ONE more touchdown doesn't make him deserving. He won 6 games!! 4 more than last year while Andy D won 5 more and MADE THE PLAYOFFS! ... Get off of this Cam Newton Happy Hour Sports Media. Football is a team sport. Winning and the post season are what matters...
Cory Druschel Thank god the NFL ends today. Thank god the off season is so long. Screw football, go Pens.
Jere Sweaty Butcher Garvin Thank god football season is over today. I swear to god one day the NFL is just going to reach a level where it's so dumb, so pointless, and so damaging to our economy that I will strap a bomb to my chest, run into the NFL Headquarters and blow it the fuck up.
Nick Greaves Superbowl sunday is always a bittersweet day for me, watching the greatest game of the year, and also knowing that there is no NFL football for 7 months.....on that note Let's Go Giants, you know my hatred of Thomas Edward Patrick Brady jr & William Stephen Belichick is so great that a die-hard Eagles fan will openly support my NFC-east rivals!!

Jen Elsberry Turner no matter who's playing, i love super bowl sunday. i usually root for the underdog and for some reason eli manning reminds of the shy, goofy guy in high school so i'm rooting for the giants. on the other hand, as much as i want to hate on brady, how can you hate a guy who does what he does? the fact that he's homelier than a mud fence and he's married to that frumpy, out of shape wife of his, i do sort of feel sorry for him. anyway, i'm sad that the season is ending, am thankful for the NFL network (thank you god!) and will have this one more day to wear my bronco's gear, which makes me happy. yeah, there's some tebow time still left in me. bottom line, as much as i love the bronco's, i LOVE football....period!
Brian Richard Chenery The Tuna didn't get into the Football HOF? Really?? Not many guys in the history of the NFL that were better than HE was. Wow! Hard to believe.
Kirk T. Melhuish The Super Bowl Stock Market predictor states if a team from the original National Football League wins the big game, the stock market will finish the year higher. For 36 of the 45 Super Bowls, the gauge has come true based on the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s annual performance, good for an 80% accuracy rate. Market watchers who follow this indicator will be pulling for the Giants, an original NFL team, as opposed to the Patriots who are traced to their AFL roots.
