Teresa Zaragoza So I take lil Mike to the dr. today- He's been sick since Monday and had gotten worse :( So, needless to say he has allergy induced asthma. Poor kid is put on Singulair and an Inhailer for his asthma, and a refill on all his allergy meds. His upside, he is measuring in at 5ft 5 and 3/4 at 11! Nurse was shocked!! Me, disappointed.. how am I gonna spank him now?

Amber Cash I swear doctors can be so confusing...checkup was a complete waste of time but he told me if she has another flare up to give her Claritin, Singulair, & Zyrtec! Not to mention the steroids, eye drops, & Benadryl... 4 allergy meds, allergy eye drops, & steroid to fight the inflammation... Is it just me or that overkill? J espere wu on va finir par le regler son asthme mon ti Loup....pis la on y retourne dans 6 semaines pour une cinedeglutition (rayon x en buvant et mangeant p,our voir s il s aspire) pis une bronchoscopie pour des cultures et des biopsies pour voir pourquoi Jayden ne reponds pas au medicaments.... :( au moins on sais qu il n a pas la fibrose kystique....c est deja ca....mais maudit que j espere que ce ne seraas trop grave....on se croise les doigts tout le monde!!! ;)

Marty Harris Just got back from the doctors office. Austin was too congested and puffy for an allergy test today, even after being put on singulair and claritan. So they put him on more steroid medication, and then he is being sent to Rapid City to be tested by a more experienced allergist. Yay.
Michelle Mesman Riggin Was very disturbed this am to find out Myles' medicane I picked up friday and had given to him Sat.-Tues. was adult dosage of 10 mg. singulair versus his child dose chewable tabs 4 mg.....Thank goodness my son noticed it tasted different and I decided to try it this am and sure enough, not a chewable and was adult dose.. The bottle said one thing and the pills were different..SO to all the parents out there, always know what your childs meds look like and listen when they tell you it's not the same..:[
Nicole Elyse Jobin The Singulair for Phoenix's asthma made him worse, he is wheezing even more and is making him very irritable and he doesn't sleep anymore. So his dr is taking him off it and trying a nebulizer. Poor baby, just want him to be able to breathe :(

Byron Thomas Foltz Looks like the new routine the allergist has Ian on is working better. Pulmecort breathing treatment in the morning, singulair pill at night. have not had any night time coughing since we started..and thats A GOOD THING..Dr. Johnson is a real good doctor and would recommend him to all our friends who have kids with allergies.
