Paraskavedekatriaphobia
It’s Friday the 13th, the one day of the year where Paraskavedekatriaphobia can cause people all kinds of problems and stress.

I saw the original Friday The 13th movie at the Drive In Theater in 1980. I wonder how much influence these movies have had on the naming and diagnosing of Paraskavedekatriaphobia? And why is there a term for this, but, not the fear of Halloween.

I will say the original Halloween movie made more of an impression on me, but, that could be because I was 17 and Jamie Lee Curtis was the main character, Laurie Strode. Now if that character had been killed in the movie, I am positive my outlook would be a lot different today.
