Lazy Magnolia Beer
My lofty goal for the weekend between all the yard work and working on my Real Estate license is to find a Party Pig of Lazy Magnolia Beer. Especially the Southern Pecan beer.
I am not a big beer drinker, but I love beer that is a little different. After seeing a Mississippi Roads segment on Lazy Magnolia I just have to give it a try, if nothing else to support my local micro brewery.
If you know where I can find a Party Pig in or around Brandon, Mississippi please drop me a comment!

Why Blond Beers are so Popular
by Patrick Anthony Blond beers are often referred to as gold ales as well and this is because of the color of the drink. The colors vary greatly from a soft straw like color to a much richer golden blond one. The one thing that these beers have in common is that they are clear, crisp and dry and have a slightly bitter taste to them also. Yes they are quite fruity as well but this does not actually detract from the beers taste or aroma. These particular varieties of Belgian beer in fact will ha

2008 Fort Marcy Cross race report
Since little Aida has come along my riding has consisted exclusively of a 6 mile rt jaunt on the Big Dummy to work and back. I was getting a bit jumpy about not riding that much and had an opportunity to run some errands in Santa Fe that neatly coincided with the NM cross series #7 race in Fort Marcy Park, which is a few blocks from the downtown plaza in Santa Fe. I knew I was not in great shape, but I was hoping that my veteran cross wiles would get me through the A race happy and no worse for

not a hoot
November 21, 2008 Well, it turns out I am really rather ill. So ill that I am unable to do much of anything at all, and certainly not travel down to The Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate which I’ve been looking forward to for months. This is incredibly galling. But I am focusing on getting well. And on the good things that are happening here. Tom made a pale ale — the first brewing he’s been able to do since he injured his hand. There shall be beer for Christmas! And then there is thi
