Dumb McNabb Overtime Nonsense

Donovan McNabb and his Philadelphia Eagles played to a 13-13 tie when they played the Cincinnati Bengals last weekend. Del Rio fights on

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jack Del Rio played for five franchises in 12 NFL seasons, but his stint with the Vikings cemented his past and his future. Jump to Comments (Philadelphia, Pa) —  As the 2008 NFL Season hits the third quarter pole and it is quickly becoming apparent that this wacky season is going to come down to the bitter end (week 17) before everything is said and done.  There are currently 21 teams at .500 or better — tied with 2002 with the highest number of teams with that mark after 10 games - so practically every team in the parity-laden league has a shot for one of the 12 coveted playoff berths. Update: Roethlisberger went 17-for-30 for 243 yards against Cincinnati Thursday night, passing for one touchdown while running for another. Recommendation: He played well enough to win with a running game that had trouble gaining traction for much of the night. For the second straight week Roethlisberger made it through a game without throwing a pick—he had eight in three previous contests—but the Bengals helped out by dropping at least two.
