Dallas Cowboys clinch Playoff berth !
Thanks to Tony Romo and Marion Barber III I have a reason to watch NFL football for the rest of the year (while I wait for Nascar to start up again!). Although I will admit that I would keep watching the New Orleans Saints too !
Being a Drew Bledsoe fan the move to Romo was hard to watch at first, but, this kid looks like the real deal. And Marion Barber has certainly been playing at a top notch level.
Go Dallas Cowboys !

Afternoon Blogdome: Drew Bledsoe Is Not Living The Same Life As Tom Brady [Afternoon Blogdome]
• Everclear should write a song about this: "Seven former NFL football players — including Drew Bledsoe — are suing UBS, a Swiss bank, for investing their money in collapsed electronic-payments firm Pay By Touch. They claim the bank neglected to mention that Pay By Touch's founder, alleged cocaine addict John Rogers, was once charged with a felony. We'd love to know how an investment bank's lawyers would have framed this disclaimer in legalese." Other players who got hosed? Rick Mirer and Alex
Drew Bledsoe, Rick Mirer and other former QB’s sue UBS
Drew Bledsoe and Rick Mirer will forever be remembered as the first and second pick in the 1993 NFL Draft. Now TMZ says they can be linked in another manner; this time as co-plaintiffs. Along with former quarterbacks Craig Nall and Alex Van Pelt they are suing the Swiss bank, UBS. “Drew says he invested a bundle in a company called Pay by Touch through UBS, but the bank concealed the criminal past of John Rogers, the founder of Pay by Touch. Rogers raised $130 mil from investors — but made a

Crappy Quarterbacks Want Their Dollarsback Posted Aug 26th 2008 2:06PM by TMZ Staff The guy who helped Tom Brady become Gisele's bitch wants to make a major Swiss bank his bitch. Drew Bledsoe -- forever famous for relinquishing his job to Tom Brady in 2001 and never getting it back -- says UBS swindled him out of a wad of cash. Here's why: Drew says he invested a bundle in a company called Pay by Touch through UBS, but the bank concealed the criminal past of John Rogers, the founder of Pay by T
Patriots need a backup plan desperately
Upon taking control of the team in the winter of 2000, before it had played so much as a down for him and even with an established gunslinger by the name of Drew Bledsoe on his roster, incoming Patriots head coach Bill Belichick alerted his quarterbacks coach, the late Dick Rehbein, that he was intent on finding a signal caller in waiting. Fins: Four QBs?
In part, it's a leverage ploy. The Dolphins need to hold their potential assets as long as possible... in case they suffer an injury, and in case another team does in a week or two. But is it really possible that they could keep four quarterbacks? Tony Sparano noted that the Bucs keep a lot of QBs. There's a better example. In 2000, the Patriots kept Drew Bledsoe (28 years old), John Friesz (33), Michael Bishop (24) and Tom Brady (23) on the active roster. Bledsoe started all 16 games,
Fins: Pennington (how long?)
Chad Pennington signed a two-year contract. That doesn't mean he will be here for two years. He is 32 years old, which is two years younger than Gus Frerotte was during the season Frerotte started here, and five years younger than Trent Green was last season. Like Green and Daunte Culpepper, he comes here with an injury concern. He has accomplished more than Josh McCown, Joey Harrington or A.J. Feeley. And at least Bill Parcells hasn't reached out to Vinny Testaverde or Drew Bledsoe.... ye
