Grambling Tops SFA Lumberjacks In Fall Exhibition Game
USA - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack baseball team got looks at 19 players on Tuesday, but fell 11-5 to Grambling in a fall baseball action at Jaycees Field. The game does not count toward either team’s 2009 record, however it does count toward each team’s allotment of allowed games. Head coach Johnny Cardenas used the game to get looks at the majority of his roster in game situations, including eight pitchers. The senior trio of Erik Gregersen, Erich Lehmann and Richard Folmer dominated th

Sheridan Black College Football Rankings - Week 9
I have to admit, the folks associated with the Sheridan Black College Football poll are getting better with these rankings. The top three remain as they should have, Florida A&M and Grambling both ascended appropriately, and the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats finally got some love for continuity. Southern should be down a little bit further, as they are the only three-loss team in the top ten. Other than that, you can probably take this to the bank. Now, if they would only reconsider naming a “

The Fundamentals
Tyson Chandler: “I’m taking pictures and all of a sudden, I hear somebody start cursing at me. I’m looking through my camera lens at the time, so I can’t see anything but the pictures I’m taking. I come from up under, and this dude walks up to me, cursing me out. I put my camera down and I’m like, “Am I not supposed to be taking pictures here?” He starts yelling in Spanish and I can’t understand him obviously. He looked homeless to me, and I’m saying, ‘Oh, I’m not supposed to be taking picture

Because not all of you have a shot at hot chicks, someone has to settle for Tara. Congrats to the Denver Broncos for showing up in Foxboro last night. This isn’t the 18-1 Pats, yet you wouldn’t have known it. Christ, how about a pulse from the Broncos. We tried to suffer through Kornheiser but his time is up. Tirico isn’t much better. It feels like watching Tuesday Night College Football from El Paso. And Jaws is Mr. Professor. Can any three of you shut up? It’s unwatchable. Today

The Hornets were the only team to finish above .500 overall, despite going just 1-6 in the non-conference. In terms of the conference race, there wasn’t much of one,

Long Term Planning
I attended a Nancy Wilson concert a couple of weeks ago. Seeing Nancy Wilson was definitely on my bucket list. I mean the woman is phenomenal! Guess Who I Saw Today, anyone? So I went to the concert and Nancy, Ms. Wilson looked so frail and fragile. I mean the concert had been postponed from April because she had a collapsed lung. And it had clearly taken a toll on her. But when she opened her mouth and sang, man she still had the VOICE! She sounded awesome. Oh and I would be remiss if I didn’t
