And you know Cowboy Maloney has to be breathing a little easier today!
Now let’s see what …
Romo leads the Cowboys home
Well that didn’t last long. With one play Tony Romo showed the Dallas Cowboys where the exit was at Qwest Stadium.
Hard to be real upset with him, he was the main reason the Cowboys made it to the playoffs, and I know I would not want to go through the …
Addidas and Reggie Bush know how to advertise.

PITTMAN DIDN’T TAKE STARCAPS
And then there were six. According to KRIV in Houston (via ESPN), Texans long snapper Bryan Pittman did not take StarCaps, and thus will not challenge his four-game suspension for violating the league’s steroids policy. Pittman reportedly took a banned diuretic via a mechnism other than StarCaps, and tested positive for it. “I want the people and the [...]
UNION PLOTTING LEGAL ACTION, EVEN AS IT FACES LEGAL ACTION
Amid reports (per Chris Mortensen of ESPN) that the attorney for Vikings defensive tackles Pat and Kevin Williams will be filing suit on Wednesday — and could sue both the NFL and the NFL Players Association — we’re told that the NFLPA currently is plotting a challenge to the StarCaps suspensions, which would include an attempt [...]
NFL Football Picks & Predictions for Week 14
Starting off this week early, in Thursday night NFL game I’m taking the Oakland Raiders +9.5 against San Diego. The Raiders have been awful, this is true, but the Chargers aren’t winning me over with their 4-8 record either. There’s definitely something missing in San Diego, but they can’t seem to figure out what it is. Chargers still win 17-10, but the Raiders cover the spread. Time for the Colts to spread their wings and fly a little bit this week. They went without scoring an offensive

SAINTS MOVE ON WITHOUT DEUCE, SMITH
With defensive end Charles Grant already on injured reserve, the suspensions of Grant, running back Deuce McAllister, and defensive end Will Smith create two roster spots. Per the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the spots have been filled by defensive end Rob Ninkovich and safety Terrence Holt. If, obviously, McAllister and Smith successfully obtain a temporary restraining order and/or [...]

Week 14 NFL Odds, Betting Lines, & Spreads
Thursday night the San Diego Chargers are 9 point favorites over the Oakland Raiders. That’s one heavily-favored 4-8 team. The Raiders are 3-9 this year, but they did beat the Jets earlier this year. Two teams that are hard to figure out in this one. This week in the Indianapolis Colts work for their 6th straight win overall at home against the Bengals, trying to improve their record to 9-4 after a 3-4 start to the year. Cincinnati is 1-10-1 on the season including a string of awful perfor
Water Pills-gate ends with the NFL suspending six players for four games each
Jump to Comments We knew even after all of the player wrangling over the Water Pills-gate, that NFL would not budge in terms of players facing suspensions. The NFL on Tuesday had seen and heard enough as six players were suspended for four games each for violating the NFL Policy on Anabolic Steroids and Related Substances. The suspended players are DE Charles Grant, RB Deuce McAllister and DE Will Smith of the New Orleans Saints, long snapper Bryan Pittman of the Houston Texans, and Defensive T

NFL Suspends 6 over Steroids
The NFL suspended six players for violating the leagues steroid policy. While the players were not caught with steroids, they were caught for using a diuretic, which masks steroids. The NFL gave out a uniform suspension of 4 games per player, without pay. The New Orleans Saints lost 3 players, including Deuce McAllister, Charles Grant, and Will Smith. The Minnesota Vikings lost the heart of their defensive line, in having both Kevin Williams and Pat Williams suspended. Shockingly, Bryan P
NFL Power Rankings - Week 14
1. New York Giants (11-1) Previous Rank: 1 The biggest problem facing New York in the coming weeks looks to be distractions. With off-the-field issues drawing what can be considered a media circus around the Giants’ organization, this team will need to remain focused if they plan to repeat as champions. A win against Philly this weekend could put everything at ease however, allowing New York the final two or three weeks to get everything sorted out. Next Game: vs. PHI (No. 17) 2. Tennessee
Playoff Rooting Card: Week 14
While many, including myself, are lamenting our loss to the Giants, mathematically speaking it is not the worst thing in the world playoff wise. We are only 1 game out of the Tiebreaker with 4 games to go. That is the good news. The bad news is that unlike previous years, the Redskins do not control their own fate, despite owning a better record then the ‘05 & ‘07 clubs did at this time. All is most certainly not lost, but another loss may prove fatal, making the Baltimore game a must w

Bad Credit ? Should I Hire a ‘Credit Repair’ Company? - Austin Chronicle 2 Dec 2008 at 2:26am Having bad credit is never really a good thing. NFL Power Rankings Week 14: While the West crumbles, the South rises
The big winner in the NFL this week has to be the Denver Broncos. At an incredibly unimpressive 7-5, the Broncos appear to have the AFC East well in-hand. They upset a pretty overrated Jets squad as the Chargers fell to the Falcons to drop three games back in the division. The Falcons moved to 8-4, which actually puts them at third place in their own division, and still on the outside looking in when talking about the NFC playoff picture. The Chargers play three of their final four games in
SPORTINGNEWS.COM: NFL LEAVES ITSELF OPEN TO STARCAPS SUITS
In our most recent item for SportingNews.com, we take a look at the manner in which the legal challenges to the StarCaps suspensions might unfold. The article is right here. One or more lawsuits are expected to be filed on Wednesday. We’ll be all over it, which is either a good thing or incredibly pathetic.
Week 14 NFL Picks: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
The crushing loss left the Saints in last place in the NFC South, three games behind Carolina and Tampa Bay and two games behind the Atlanta Falcons, who they play this week. Two interceptions in their own territory and a Bucs field goal later sent the Saints home with a 23-20 loss, which pretty much ended ...
StarCaps, contaminated with ppotent diuretic bumetanide caps 6 NFL stars
The ongoing saga of the NFL v. 6 players who test positive for bumetanide v. Starcaps temporarily culminated yesterday when the league suspended 6 players from the Saints, Vikings, and Texans in the flap. Paula Duffy in the Examiner summarizes the entire deal: In a move that will certainly set off legal fireworks, the NFL has decided to suspend six players for violating the league's drug policy. The drug in question isn't really a drug at all. It is Bumetanide, a substance that acts as a mask
Sport: Patriots Face Buccaneers In NFL Wembley Return
The first match was a landmark and the second a hard-earned consolidation, but, only a month after the dust settled on that successful evening in North London, the NFL have delighted Manchester United fans everywhere by announcing that next year's International Series fixture at Wembley Stadium will see Malcolm Glazer's Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the formidable New England Patriots on the now traditional Sunday when the clocks go back, 25th October 2009. The choice of teams represents another s

Who Ordered the ‘Cursed Season’ Over (Big) Easy?
A season that started riddled with injuries will end with a side of suspensions. The NFL laid down a four week smack down against 6 players (including 3 Saints) for violating the league’s policy on steroids and related substances. That means unless the Saints miraculously make the playoffs, we’ve seen the last of Will Smith and Deuce McAllister in ‘08, along with the already on IR Charles Grant. In Deuce’s case, it may be his end as a Saint period. (“Waiter, there’s a ’sigh’ in my soup…”) Th
