Duck swallows Alien?
Finally, proof, 100% full proof, aliens do exist. And they are really small, not so smart and obviously very slow. How else could you explain the fact that a duck, yes, a duck swallowed an alien? Or was this a super duck ? We may never know, but, I will bet the xray sells for a lot of money on eBay!

Fun at the Dentist’s Office?
We had our first appointment with Dr. Brill. He’s been doing this forever and isn’t rattled by anything. Anything. {grin} The staff made sure the kids were comfy doing everything–even space alien x-rays. Brooke has to go back for some work, but she’s not scared. Brad’s not batting an eye at his upcoming extraction. He’s been trying to work that bottom front tooth loose since the new one grew in behind it months ago. No dice. I almost wish I was young again so I could tell my no

Spore gets expansion pack already?! Creepy & Cute coming November
When will this expansion pack madness end? Following the strategy it has adopted with The Sims, Electronic Arts is to release its first expansion pack for Spore in November 18, according to a listing that was briefly placed on its own US download store (and following brief listings on US Amazon and other retailers). Regular drip-feeds of new content for games is nothing new. But the world’s largest videogame company have, with The Sims, produced more expansion packs, more regularly than fo
Christmas Mascot Costumes
by Rios Maldonado Who’s the dragon? In the early eighties the X-men had an extended period in deep space fighting insect-like aliens known as the Brood. During that time Kitty met a small, purple, alien dragon she named Lockheed, after the aviation company, and he became her constant companion. What is Dragon Crest? Here’s the short answer: Dragon Crest is a Live Action Role Playing (LARP) game set in a fantasy genre. To a fair portion of the population, we might as well have quoted someth

The novel is also widely perceived to be based o
David Fincher's Rendezvous with Rama Officially Dead
I really don't think we'll ever see this adaptation get out of production hell. Our San Francisco correspondent Marco Cerritos caught up with David Fincher over the weekend at another Benjamin Button presentation. While his interview will be published in a few days, we were anxious to find out any updates on his Rendezvous with Rama project. As a recap, "Rendezvous with Rama" is a book written by sci-fi author Arthur C. Clarke that has been on the production slate for years. David Fincher was

Ridley Scott's Return to Sci-Fi is Actually The Forever War
This news definitely came out of nowhere! The legendary Ridley Scott, known for saying "sci-fi films are as dead as westerns", is apparently back with not one, but two sci-fi projects. Fox 2000 has acquired the rights to Joe Haldeman's 1974 novel "The Forever War" and has Ridley Scott attached to direct. Scott's future has become one hell of a mess with this announcement and even I'm left scratching my head in confusion. Variety claims that this adaptation of "The Forever War" was meant to be

Finally making films about its characters, its own studio, Marvel Comics, showed you can be essentially true to source material and turn in some genuine, fun film making, with real acting along the way too. Top Ten Science Fiction Shows (Ever)
This list is going to be based entirely upon my personal tastes. I'm not basing it on the top ten most influential shows or the top ten shows that spawned the most spin-offs. This list is about the shows I like the most and still do to this day. So, if you get mad at me for not including Star Trek or some old show that you think is one of the greatest shows ever, consider this a disclaimer. Here goes (in no particular order except that this is the order they came to me in my head): Battlestar G
