Super Bowl, Winter Olympics and NASCAR
Although I did not have a favorite in the Super Bowl, I guess I was rooting for Seattle. However, I am happy to see the Steelers get their victory and Jerome Bettis be able to retire at the top. Pretty ironic seeing how I am a diehard Cowboy fan. Oh well, football is not what it used to be, at least for me.
Now we get on to the start of my favorite sport, Nascar !!
And to fill in some of the missing schedule we have the Winter Olympics to watch. And yes in our house the women’s Figure [...]

Back to Work
Finally back to work today. I have been off since last Wednseday, and I was ready to come back to work. Vacation and Holidays always sound great, but, after a few days I am always ready to get back to my regular schedule. I know, I must be sick or something. I really enjoy my work and look forward to each day in the office. Oh yeah, I have those days where I am tired of it, but, for the most part I really like it.
The NFL season is over and my beloved Dallas Cowboys missed the playoffs again. [...]

Tom Brady to play New England Patriots Season Opener
Tom Brady to play New England Patriots Season Opener By: J.J. Jack Hopefully, he’ll stay the hell away from the probable list this time. Because the way he tends to stay on that list always makes his fantasy owners skip a heartbeat. And oh yeah, Brady will play for the Patriots to start the 2008-09 NFL football season after suffering another foot injury which he claims is entirely different from the one he got before Super Bowl XLII. Oh yeah, in case you forgot, Tom Brady was playing with an
Will retired Michael Strahan return to the New York Giants for the coming 2008-09 NFL Football Season?
Will retired Michael Strahan return to the New York Giants for the coming 2008-09 NFL Football Season? By: Syndicate Yes, we had exactly the same thing a season ago. And while Favre’s continued affair with retirement looms every single year, Strahan’s version of it wasn’t that predictable coming into the 2008-09 NFL football season. After all, with the New York Giants winning the Super Bowl XLII to culminate what has been a Cinderella run last year, retiring on top of the game surely was the
Will Leitch plays by different Tecmo Super Bowl rules
Will Leitch plays by different Tecmo Super Bowl rules The blogosphere's prodigal son and shining beacon of light, Will Leitch, wrote a bit today for his old site. The subject was the Arizona Cardinals, their upcoming season and the incredibly consistent mediocrity both in the front office and at the quarterback position. The piece is good and I'd recommend reading it. All except for this little thought bubble (bolded) from Leitch, which had me teetering on the edge of a blind rage induced,

Strahan stays retired, wants his check for $25 million ASAP
NEW YORK, NY — New York Giants football officials were scrambling today to see if they really owed Michael Strahan $25 million after the retired defensive end turned down their offer to return to the defending Super Bowl champs. “That’s how it works, right?” Strahan said. “I get $25 million for not playing. That’s the whole [...]
Cowboys out to win toughest division
NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest. Will the troubled Pacman Jones be a plus player for the Dallas Cowboys? How would you like to be the New York Giants fresh from a Super Bowl victory and not even picked to win your division? Heck, some skeptics think the Giants may lose second place to the Philadelphia Eagles. And let’s not forget the Washington Redskins with new coach Jim Zorn. They were in the playoffs in 2 out of the last 3 years. But the NFC East Division is the

Tom Brady, just how serious is your foot injury?
Tom Brady, just how serious is your foot injury? By: Seth Edward O'Neal For some reason, Tom Brady and his foot can’t seem to cooperate as one cohesive unit. You read it, as the 2008-09 NFL football season draws near, Tom Brady continues to have problems with his foot, dating as far back as Super Bowl XLII when his then undefeated Patriots lost to the New York Giants after Brady was seen in New York wearing a ‘’special boot'’ of some sort. And while Tom Brady continues to deny that this is t
Shawne Merriman out for season?
NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest. If Shawne Merriman wants to run in the NFL, he may have to sit The Chargers have arguably had one of the best teams in the NFL for the last 2 years, but things happen and the Chargers have no Super Bowls to show for it. The road to the Super Bowl seems blocked by the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts and that is just in their conference. So, you can see that everything has to be working. Last year an injured Philip Rivers
